“THE LOOMING TOWER” – The acclaimed series for Hulu TV

Mark will be appearing on an upcoming episode of “The Looming Tower”, a new series for Hulu starring Emmy-winner Jeff Daniels and Peter Sarsgaard. The series is based based on Lawrence Wright’s Pulitzer Prize-winning 9/11 exposé, concerning the rising threat of Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda. It takes a controversial look at how the rivalry between the CIA and FBI inadvertently might have set the stage for the tragedy of 9/11 and the war in Iraq.

From Oscar-nominated Dan Futterman (Foxcatcher), Oscar- and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney (Going Clear) and Legendary Television.

“SCHOOL FOR LIES” at Arkansas Repertory Theatre

Mark will be playing Clitander in David Ives riotous adaptation of Moliere’s “The Misanthrope” at Arkansas Repertory Theatre. Directed by Giovanna Sardelli, this 17th Century comedy feels surprisingly relevant as it exposes the hypocrisies of polite high society with a sharp wit and even sharper observations about human nature. Comic master David Ives (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur, Is He Dead?) adapts this wicked farce for contemporary audiences, contrasting the high-brow characters with low-brow humor and employing present-day language that breathes fresh air into this rollicking satire.

Mark will be appearing alongside Emmy-winner Peter Scolari in the roles of Henri Drumont and Count Wallsin-Esterhazy in “The Dreyfus Affair”, the third of Ensemble for the Romantic Century’s trilogy of historic plays.

Based on the notorious events surrounding the prosecution (and persecution) of Alfred Dreyfus, a 19th-Century officer in the French Army, the production uses projections, live music and historical sources to tell the dramatic story of anti-Semitism in turn-of-the-century Europe.
