“RAISON D’ETRE” at Theatre 71

Mark will be reading the role of Father in Pirandello’s masterpiece “Six Characters in Search of an Author” in a staged reading of a new adaptation of Pirandello’s work.  Who belongs here?  Who gets to tell the story?  Who is charge of the narrative?  What is the truth?  It may have been half a century ago, but these questions were clearly on Luigi Pirandello’s mind, as well as the subjects of class, capitalism, sexual exploitation, intimacy, mortality, mendacity, and totalitarianism.
